Product Description
Body Camera TF Card with Power Loss Protection for Evidence Recorders
Evidence is only useful if the file survives the moment power is lost. A body camera TF card leaves the dock at the start of a shift, records for hours in a moving crowd, then is often docked while the last clip is still closing. This body camera TF card protects that file with a staged commit design: data lands in a journal area first and the file table is committed every few seconds, so the next power up replays the journal and closes the interrupted clip instead of leaving a zero byte file. An optional signature block ties each clip to the card serial and a write timestamp, which supports the evidence record without changing the officer workflow.

- Journal based protection — Data is journalled before the file table commits, so a body camera TF card with power loss protection closes the interrupted clip on the next boot instead of producing a corrupt file.
- Chain of custody support — An optional signature block binds each clip to a card serial number and write timestamp, supporting the evidence record without changes to the dock or management software.
- Fast offload at shift end — Sequential read up to 180MB/s empties a full body camera TF card into the evidence system in minutes, so the device is ready for the next shift.
- Shock and drop tolerance — Package and contact design tolerate vest mount vibration and accidental drops, and data is retained after a shock event.
- Wide temperature operation — Minus 25 to 85 degrees Celsius covers winter patrol, vehicle interiors in summer and air conditioned evidence rooms.
- Tamper evidence option — Write once mode and a protected partition can be enabled at production so archived clips cannot be altered later.
Specified for wearable and interview recording where integrity matters as much as capacity:
- security body worn cameras with dock offload
- Private patrol and event stewarding teams
- Interview room and custody suite recorders
- Insurance loss adjusters documenting site conditions
- Safety and environmental audit teams in the field
- Maritime and railway inspection crews
A: It journals data that is written but not yet committed. If the battery dies or the device is docked mid clip, the journal is replayed on the next power up and the file is closed, so footage is playable instead of lost.
A: At FHD a 256GB body camera TF card holds well beyond one shift, which leaves room for a second device rotation before offload completes. For high bitrate dual camera units we normally suggest 256GB or 512GB.
A: The body camera TF card presents as a standard UHS-I volume on FAT32 or exFAT, so it is mounted and hashed in the usual way. The signature block is optional.
A: Yes. Write once mode, a protected partition, agency logo and a serial number range can be configured at production, and the serial list is kept on file for your records.
Every batch is tested for power cut recovery, drop shock and a full sequential write pass, and the serial number range of each order is recorded. Samples of the body camera TF card take three to five working days and bulk orders ten to fifteen days, with anti static tray packing and individual serial labels available.
